Ginge,I wore my blazer and badge with pride and a tear in my eye as I stood with my son at Remembrance Sunday parade in Northampton. Polo shirts sounds good to me. Does anybody know where I can get a COV tie from? Hope you are all well, very much looking forward to seeing you all again next year. If you are planning to stay at the "HOME CLUB" get your bids in quick I understand there are not many rooms left TTFN Busta

Thinking of our shipmates still on patrol on remembrance day. Dougie it is me just older, fatter and somewhat balder! The polo shirts sound like a good idea,Buster how is the badge? See you all in May.

Just interested to know, how many others served under all three of the Cov's Capn's? I'm sure I'm not the only one. Regards to all Darby If any one is in contact with Eddie Campbell, could you ask him to send me an EMail please. I have a message for him from a mutual friend.

Thinking of you all on this special weekend of remembrance; unfortunately I am unable to be with Simon, Tony and Toby on Sunday at the Cenotaph London due to my having to work. My thoughts are with you all, especially our ship mates still on patrol and those ship mates that have left us since our return. They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.

Polo shirts sound good, also ties. I've booked our flights for next year, arriving Gatwick 5/23 and leave from there 6/5. Looking forward to seeing everyone again - it's been too long. I enjoyed looking at the pics from earlier this year - is that really Ginge Crook? See y'all in about 6 months. Dougie

How about a Polo shirt? How would everyone feel about buying one of those? I still have cash in the pot from the old Cov association given to me by Derek. I have been using it to buy the wreaths up to now. There is not really enough in there to subsidise a purchase, so we would all be paying the full price. How many would we want - 20/30 etc.

Busta, my company - handmadebymachine.com - does embroidered merchandise (though not ties as a rule - they need a lot more work and we have never had any demand for one). But we can do t-shirts, polos, sweaters, caps etc.

Hi there, I am the daughter of CPO Philip Fisher who served on HMS Coventry during the Falkland War in 1982, unfortunately he passed away last year. I was wondering if anyone can help as to where I can get any details of his service history etc

Due to a failed hard disk I have lost the 2006 reunion pictures and email addresses of those who sent them, despite best efforts to recover them all I've had no luck. Could the people concerned email them to me again?

Hi there As you know I am currently serving in FI and have been asked to lay wreaths/tributes on all memorials of '82 on the Islands on Saturday 11th November for rememberance weekend. That of course includes the Coventry memorial and I thought it would be a great chance to personalise a tribute by adding any messages that any of you would like to send. I thought I'd make up a small book. If you would like your message included, please email it to me asap.
