Paddy,Burty, i too asked the producer about the documentary being released as a DVD.He confirmed it would be ok but would have some cost attached via the production company. If there is enough interest maybe the costs can be kept down? Busta - don't worry about getting up here for the interview with Central on Friday 18th - unless of course they are paying! They have got to come to my workplace as i've only got a couple of hours spare at best.Hope to see you at the re-union otherwise. regards, Mick (Jack)

Just been told that the BBC have changed their mind and the programme will now be shown at 2100 on the 1st of June. It's quite obviously a moveable feast, but I will keep you updated should anything else change! (Bloody schedulers!!) Dick Lane (Ops)

Shippers: I will not be at this years re-union. I just got out of hospital and because I'm such a delicate flower the doc said F*** No to me going over. I'm fine, so no-one is getting my steaming batts just yet! I have phone numbers somewhere so you may be getting calls from a crazy yank at stupid times of day. Who can recoed the 27th BBC stuff for me - being in the USA they have no clue about the Falklands - because its outside of the Continental US, so by law it does not exist! I'll kepp in touch - Sorry BUSTOS, BALDOS and all - will be thinking of you. Yours Aye "Yorkie" Burton "BURTOS"

Hi All, For those of you who knew and for those who didn't, the TV programme which was made with the help of some Coventry Shipmates is due to show on BBC2 on 27th May at 2100hrs, called Sea of Fire. I have been informed by the film crew that they hope it does Us, Coventry and our lost mates justice, time will tell. Regards to you all and hope to see you all on the 25th and if your there on the QEII on the 13th.

Well spotted Noddy. You are dead right it was may lawnmower. A lot of work went into that. I think i was the longest serving member of the ships company having joined in Birkenhead in may 1977. I'll be at the Falklands Chapel at Pangbourne on the 25th. Well worth a visit. Your sleepy Seadarter opposite number. Best wishes to all at the re-union especially Steve Ingleby.

I have just been on the phone to Eddie Campbell. Unfortunately he cannot make it this year, as he will be with his family in the West Indies. However he sends his regards and wishes us a great reunion. We had a long chat - what a really pleasant fellow Eddie is.
