Mick - I've got a pic of the banner. Will go up on the site shortly. Paul - haven't checked to see if it recorded okay, but I set my PVR to record the BBC coverage. Should be getting a DVD recorder any day now so can knock off copies as needed. Everybody - John Davey has kindly had his film of Coventry's Far East tour put onto a DVD which I now have. Well worth watching! Can anybody who wants a copy (on DVD) please email me at covpics@jetman.dircon.co.uk and we'll build up a list of who wants a copy before commencing sending them out. There's a small fee for doing the DVDs and posting them out but the profits from the polo shirts may cover this - depends how many copies we need to do! Anybody with any pics from the reunion or Horse Guards event, please also email me at covpics@jetman.dircon.co.uk I have some taken myself but the stand that the Coventry families were put in was about as far away from where the guys on parade were as they could possibly put it...!

Guys, what a memorable day on Horseguards and the Mall - an honour and privelige to march with you once again - something i'll cherish forever.I thought we did pretty well after 25 years - we all managed to turn the right way - something the audience appreciated. Was anybody's family in Block F and took a picture of the Cov banner that the family made?(the missus says a lot did)For those who didn't spot it - it read 'HMS COVENTRY D118 - 19 BRAVE MEN PARADING IN HEAVEN' It would be nice to see a pic if you did. Regards and best wishes to you all, keep safe, Mick(Jack)Daniels & family

I shed "tears of pride" as I watched the recording on TV today. I have never felt so proud as I marched onto Horse Guards and up The Mall with fellow "Brothers in Arms"an experience I will never forget.I will remember for the rest of my life. Marching! yes organised chaos!!! But did anybody notice HRH Prince Andrew "tick-tocking" At least we had an excuse. And a couple of beers inside us. Good luck in life boys and more importantly stay healthy. Busta

Attended the FI parade yesterday at Horse Guards, it was really good to march and be part of it, especially to be representing Coventry. I have to say though guys, we were a complete shambles on the dressing front and long may it be so, even Eli could not sort us out. Great day and will remember it forever. And a special thanks to Lee Thorne and his 'dad in law' who found my wife for me after getting split up (nearly got my life back). I guess that is it for now guys, see you next May perhaps. Chris Howe.

In your roll of honour, you have my brother Paul T Mills down as a stoker, he was a Mechanician. I doubt he would have minded you calling him a stoker, but for gods sake don't call him a Tiff

The bar at the Trafalgar Hotel could also be a good place to meet - if you stand on Horseguards facing the park, turn right and walk to the top of the road (The Mall) to the ivy-clad "bunker". Cross The Mall (so that you are at the bottom of the steps leading to the Duke of York colum. Turn right, and walk along The Mall. Just before Admiralty Arch is the Marines Memorial, with some steps next to it. Go up the steps, walk through the gates at the top and walk straight ahead to the end of the street. The entrance to the hotel is on the corner on the left. I'll check if it's possible to go to the roof garden. http://www.thetrafalgar.com/
