Back home now after a great reunion and a great service of remembrance. Thank you very much to Chris and the Commitee. They will never be forgotten. I have just had a quick look at the web site and see that someone has placed some great pictures of the commisioning. As i was there as a Sea Cadet I had a quick look. To my amazement i found a picture of myself. Those who know me and want a laugh i'm the drummer in the foreground!

I remember you also, George Mew. You were a diver in the Persian Gulf for a while and came onboard Gloucester when we were out there for Desert Storm

Sorry for not being intouch with anyone for so many years. I still think about that day in 1982 very much, sometimes it only feels like yesterday. I will be thinking of you all on Sunday and intend to be in Pompey next year for the 30 year reunion. Hope someone remembers me! Clubz (George) Mew

Shipmates Final dit before reunion - promise. Just to ask/remind those attending next weekend in Coventry. If anyone is happy/able to donate a raffle prize for the Sat night raffle draw it would be very much appreciated. For those of you not able to attend in Coventry, especially those still meeting in Pompey, have a good weekend and thanks to those wreath laying in Pompey on the Sunday morning, your shipmates in Coventry will also raise a glass or two and hold our service of remembrance. Safe journeys one and all Yrs Aye Chris Howe - Chairman
