Shipmates, as a result of several recent enquiries with regard to next years reunion in Coventry (as promulgated on 'Reunion' tab adjacent) I find a need to ask the following question to you all: Would you please consider contacting me personally by, email, stating your current intention to attend in Coventry for next May 2011. This will not be a committment, simply an intention. So, if you are able to make such a decision at this stage I would very much appreciate it. Info needed for planning purposes in order to decide on some options I am looking at; it will help me a great deal to get an early sight of attendance. Alternatively, just turn up, I have no problem with that either Many thanks Chris Howe MBE - Chairman

Ahoy, shipmates. I attended the Royal British Legion Remembrance Day service in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday and, although there was only 1 other Falklands veteran (from 2 Para) there, there were many from WW2, Korea and Aden, along with a RN LtCdr on exchange with the US Coast Guard, HM Consul General from Miami, many RBL members, and the American Legion provided the Color Guard. A few tears were shed during the 2 minutes silence. All in all a very good weekend, with copious amounts of alcohol included. Remembering our shipmates still on patrol. R.I.P.
