HMS Coventry was launched by my mother at CL Yard in Birkenhead, and commissioned by my father at Portsmouth who later sent her to war; i have photos of both events which you are welcome to load to your site if you give me the facilities to do it. Coventry was very much a "family" ship, her crest hangs on my wall
