Falklands '8 day deployment' Developing out of my role as ‘bish’ (OCM * Naval Chaplaincy Team) at HMS Drake, plus our chaplaincy involvement with Help4Heroes, In May 2016 I'm leading a group of 12 ex RM & RM 1982 South Atlantic veterans down to the Falklands. The week stay will include battlefield tours, and possible an 'out to sea'(day running) to cover at least 2 sites where Task Force ships came to a final rest. There is a definite plan to visit the Cov Memorial at Pebble Island. There may be a couple of spare places but I'll do a sitrep on that in a couple of weeks time. I would really appreciate any feedback/advice from any '82 Cov veterans who have made the trip back - especially anyone who has organized or help organized it as a group. *provisional planned timings get me back in time to be at the D118 Reunion 21/22 May
