The school has dedicated a room for the support and protection of students as the &#8216;Open Ark&#8217;, with Frank&#8217;s name on the door, and will, each year, award a Frank Armes Unsung Hero Shield to the student most befitting of the unsung hero description. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dneat.org\/5913-2\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.dneat.org\/5913-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">A dedication service for the Open Ark room was held on the 40th anniversary of the loss of HMS Coventry<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent-lhr8-1.xx.fbcdn.net\/v\/t39.30808-6\/284062985_3209840799232334_81941894515234352_n.jpg?_nc_cat=103&amp;ccb=1-7&amp;_nc_sid=5cd70e&amp;_nc_eui2=AeGbfF_atmn9Ez2KzJpvtTIR3mWviyXuW8PeZa-LJe5bw_h23Wtikgi_j3Fh_pXoSlQ&amp;_nc_ohc=Hilg8iByey4AX8oidXn&amp;_nc_ht=scontent-lhr8-1.xx&amp;oh=00_AfA9XtWLBye9QUFH9qlIGO-9kpiutq80O2-t0vkHcvOouA&amp;oe=63853DC7\" alt=\"May be an image of text that says &quot;doenacademy THE OPEN ARK Place of Protection for All&quot; Dedicated to the Memory of Frank Armes 25\/05\/82 AHeartsease Student from 1971 1977 Lost sea on 25th May 1982 onboard HMS Coventry In Service \u00db of his Country for the Protection of our Freedoms. On this Day the 25th May 2022 to mark the 40th year since he was lost &quot;Wewill Forget&quot; FromtheS Freedom battle.&quot;\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is also a magnificent new memorial bench located in Longwater Park Lane in Costessey, Norwich, bearing Frank&#8217;s name.
