Dear Shipmates, families and friends of D118.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As your HMS COVENTRY D118 Association Chairman, it once again gives me great pleasure to announce that the 2027 service of remembrance and reunion will take place on Saturday 22 May 2027 in Portsmouth. Following a vote taken at the 2024 reunion, it has also been decided to hold all future reunions in Portsmouth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The itinerary is likely to be similar to 2026, as below, but TBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You will note the Muster on Saturday at 1645, plenty of time for preservice wets; I am sure you will all be very proud to once again parade under our HMS COVENTRY D118 Standard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The RN GIA (Gunnery Instructors Association) are once again kindly providing us with their Association venue for our reunion on the Sat night where a light finger buffet will be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. As in previous years, please consider bringing a raffle prize, thank you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me; see you in Portsmouth in May 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. FYI – The 5 yearly Gosport FI82 veterans parade is to take place on Sat 12 June and will follow a different format to previoius years. Therefore, anyone wishing to attend on the 12 June will need to wait for announcements from the Gosport Council and apply to parade as instructed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The SAMA82 45th AGM and Dinner also on Sat 12 June, Swindon. Followed by an extensive FI82 Veterans Service of Remembrance on Sunday 13 June at the Pangbourne Falklands Chapel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
