Hi Paul , in 1980 ( May till September) I was with FGS " KÖLN " F220 in the SNFL . Ther was also HMS " ARROWS " and HMS " COVENTRY " .Specially with this booth Ships we had a very good Teamwork . So it was very hard when I heard about the 25th of May ´82. So short time after we was in one Fleet .And , really , WHY must this happend ? For nothing !! 19 Man died for a nothing .
But however , it was a honour to work with " Coventry " !!

Regard the un-official get together on 25th May in Pompey, I'm up for that. There are rummors that an official re-union is in the planning stages by as yet I have heard no more.
Barney Barnam how are you - I think that I may have a photo of you taken when I was your Bosuns Mate along side in Pompey in 81? Nice to hear from you shipmate.
