I met with Dougie Douglas in Tampa FL late Nov 03. Had a good time, and talked about the memories, and what happend to us after 82. Ginge, I did not get the skippers email, or message about the book, look it up if you can.

I joined the Coventry in late 1981. In time for the Standing Naval Force Adlantic deployment, my first trip as a junior seamen missilman, I was only 17. I cannot remember too many names of my shipmates, which is a loss to me. But here I am almost 22 years later wondering how you are all doing. Since leaving the navy in 1992 I moved to and know live in California. To all my shipmates I wish you the best.

Congratulations.

Your site is free of jingoistic stuff, and free of offensive words about your -then- enemies. Excellent photos and narrations. I tend to believe that the Falklands War was a showcase of gentlemanery and honour for both bands.

War is a bad thing, but if a war is going to be fought, it would be fighted the way that Falklands -Malvinas- War was fought.

You englishmen were very brave, and argentine warriors were very brave too.

Kudos, and my great respect.
